WHAT IS HELIX PIERCING?
For those who already got a helix piercing, this will be a “helix 101” lesson that you get for the second time, oops! Why is it called “helix piercing”? (Admit it, it sounds cooler like this!) Well, in general, a helix is a spiral shape and comes from the Greek word “curved, twisted”. In means of the body part; it is the curved part of the outer ear.
Medium. It is usually made with a small hollow needle. It is not the most painful piercing you get as this part of the ear does not have nerves, however; it will need more time to heal than the lobe because it has less blood circulation over there.
The healing time is 4 to 6 weeks depends on how you take care of it. You should be careful not to touch your helix piercing without washing your hands. During winter be cautious while dressing up as you can tangle it. It would be best if you were careful with the cleaning as it is likely to get irritation and infection quickly. If it gets swollen a bit with redness after 2-3 days you get your helix, do not worry, it is normal.
You have a daring and bold personality. You definitely like attention and admiration from the others. You like being playful and spontaneous. Creativity is granted, being unique is known and felt always. You are usually known as generous and warm, as well. Plus, positive and optimistic - who brings light to the life of others.
